La Vie en Rose is a chain of lingerie and swimwear stores for women. Founded in the Toronto area by Harry Kanner back in 1985, the company was sold in 1996 to François Roberge, who moved the head office to Montreal. In just over 20 years, the number of la Vie en Rose stores in Canada has grown from 23 to 186. The brand has also entered the international market and, as of 2018, has 94 stores in 15 countries.

In addition, la Vie en Rose owns Bikini Village, a chain of swimwear and beachwear stores for men and women. As of 2018, this division operates 60 stores.

The president and CEO of la Vie en Rose, François Roberge, is known for his many efforts to promote the Quebec fashion industry. He was a member of the task force created by the Quebec government to draw up a comprehensive portrait of the fashion and clothing sector in 2013. He is also Chair of the Board of Directors of Montreal’s Metropolitan Fashion Cluster.
