Institut supérieur de design de mode (I.S.D.M.) inc.

Organization

1996 - 2006

The Institut de design de mode (I.S.D.M.) inc. was a private post-secondary institution in Montreal. Founded in 1996, the I.S.D.M. was recognized by the Quebec Ministry of Education.

The school offered only one program: fashion design.

Graduates received an attestation of college studies (known by its French initialism, AEC).

Originally located at 6920 St. Hubert Street, the I.S.D.M. moved to 5277 Park Avenue in the early 2000s in an attempt to develop a “school/store” concept and increase the number of programs offered.

Although the I.S.D.M. at one point had a student body of 85, only 50 or so were enrolled in 2003. The school eventually closed on November 21, 2006.
