William Joseph Colpron-D’Anjou, often known simply as D’Anjou or Colpron-D’Anjou, was one of the founding members of the Association of Canadian Couturiers. He was based in Montreal and took part in the Association’s activities for several years. Specializing in evening gowns and wedding dresses, he presented his creations in the fashion shows held at Montreal’s Ritz-Carlton in September 1954 and New York City’s Pierre Hotel in December of the same year. He continued to participate in the Association’s shows until the 1960s.
